Animal Welfare

Animal welfare is one of the fundamental cornerstones of organic production, being regulated by strict standards in its application. Housing conditions must meet the needs of the animals, as well as access to outdoor exercise spaces.

At Dehesa El Milagro we do not only comply with the highest levels of animal welfare regulations, but we also seek to overcome it by notably maximizing the space allowed by the regulations for the accommodation of animals, both in sheltered spaces and in outdoor meadows.

We believe that animal welfare significantly improves the health of animals by promoting disease prevention. Prevention is one of the priority actions as veterinary care.

We understand that there is a direct relationship between animal welfare and product quality. We have the maximum concern in this area. We carry out a continuous internal monitoring as it is one of the cornerstones of our production model.
